This is the last Will and Testament of me
Elizabeth Awdry of Seend in the County of Wilts
Widow In the first place I direct all my just
debts funeral and Testamentary Expences to
be paid by my Executors hereinafter named
and after payment thereof I give and bequeath
the whole of my personal Estate and Effects
unto my youngest daughter Ellen
Seymour Awdry for her own absolute
use and benefit but in case my said
daughter Ellen Seymour shall happen
to depart this life under the age of Twenty
One Years and unmarried Then I give
and bequeath the whole of my said Estate
and Effects unto my son Ambrose
Awdry and my eldest daughter Elizabeth
Awdry to be equally divided between them
share and share alike and to their respective
Executors and Administrators and Assigns with
benefit of Survivorship between them my
said Son Ambrose and Daughter Elizabeth
in case my said Son shall happen to depart
this life under the Age of Twenty one Years or
my said daughter shall die under that age

of and unmarried Provided that in case of
my death before my said daughter Ellen Seymour
shall have attained the age of Twenty one Years
or be married I direct that my Executors shall
(after payment of my just debts) stand
possessed of the whole of my said Estate
and Effects in Trust for her until she shall
have attained that age or be married
but with full power to advance such
part there of or of the Interest thereof towards
the maintenance and Education of my
said daughter as they my said Executors
shall think proper and necessary And
I hereby appoint William Henry Awdry
and West Awdry both of Chippenham
Wilts Gentlemen Joint Executors of this
my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and Seal this Thirteenth day of August
One thousand Eight hundred Thirty two.
