In the name of God Amen I Mary
Betterton of the Parish of Cricklade St Mary in the County of Wills Widow being a
little indisposed in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory praised be almighty
God for the same Do make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner
following (That is to say) First I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty
God my Creator and my Body to the Earth to be decently buryed at the Discrec[I]on
of my Executors herein after named and as touching the disposic[i]on of my temporall
Estate as it hath [leased God to bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as foll-
oweth First I will that my Debts and Funeral Expences to be first paid & discharged
Item I give & bequeath unto my Sone Marke Betterton the sume of One
Shilling to be paid him within one month after my Decease Item I likewise
Give unto my loving Daughter Mary Betterton the like sume of One
Shilling to be paid her by my Exec[uto]r at the same time All the rest & residue of
my personall Estate Goods & Chattells whatsoev[er] as money Brass Pewter Bedding
Wearing aparrell rent in arrear & benefitt of Exec[uto]r=shipp after my decease-

concerning Lands I poss[ess]ed in my lifetime and all other Utincells whatsoever-
I do Give and bequeath unto my loving Executor Sone in Law Thomas -
Pike whom I do appoint full & whole Executor of this my last will & Testam[en]t
And I do hereby revoake & make void all former Wills by me heretofore made
In witnesse whereof I the said Mary Betterton to this my last Will and Testam[en]t
do set my hand and seale this Thirteenth day of June in the Seventh Yeare
