My dad is David John Tomassi his parents are Rebecca and Charlie or Angelo Tomassi. He was nationalised and became an English citizen somewhere around 1947, he had 3 children with Rebecca (Betty) they are Ron, Jean and David. His father was Renata from Reggio Calabria in Southern Italy. How did we get to England? How many other ancestors where left behind in Italy? I have heard the names Colletta/Coletta/Colleta thrown about, how are we tied to them? What where the reasons for emigrating?
