In the name of God Amen, I Alexander Allison of the district of York & State of South Carolina Being Advanced in life and Desirous to make this my last will and testament in manner and form following Viz
First my desire is that my body shall be buried in decent genteel manner at discretion of my Executors hereinafter mentioned & with regard to my worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to Bless me I Bequeath Devise and Will in manner following, Viz,
first I give bequeath and demise unto my son Hugh Allison one tract of land containing three hundred & twenty acres on the waters of Clarks Fork.
Second I give bequeath and demise to my son James Allison one negro child named Jincy he paying the taxes of sd negro after my decease.
Third I give bequeath and demise unto my son Thomas Allison one negro girl named Hannah & one bay horse
fourth I give bequeath & demise unto my daughter Agness Lessly one negro woman named Dina & two bed furniture and chest of drawers also All my horned attle sheep & hogs timber wheels and kitchen furniture Also one tract of land containing 285 acres on the head branch of Bullocks Creek in consideration where of my sd daughter Agness or her heirs shall pay unto my two grand children Robert Alexander Allison and Eliza Allison the sum of one hundred dollars each as soon as they come of age
6th I give bequeath & demise to my son Thomas one negro girl named Emy which I allow him to lend to my daughter Margaret during her life time. Should sd girl survive my daughter I allow her to return to said Thos Allison or his heirs after her decease
7th I give bequeath & demise unto my grandaughter Margaret Lessley one negro girl named Ann.
Lastly I appoint Robert Allison & Saml Lessley my Exr to this my last will & testament allowing sd Lessley to pay all expence that may accrue on the same & hereby revoking & disannuling all former wills & legacies & bequests made done or appointed by me or in any manner before this ratifying this & no other to be my last will & testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 6th day of July one thousand eight hundred & fourteen
Signed sealed & published by sd Alexander Allison as his last will & testament in presence of us
