THIS DEED between Winnie Gilchrist widowed colored of Union County Ky, Grantor and Dorcas Sina Williams widow of Col William Clara Bland (widow of Wiks Bland) of Corydon Ky. and Dan Gilchrist of Union County, these my three children Grantee,
That grantor in consideration of ($1.00) one dollar love and affection and service rendered me during my natural life and care and protection during my sickness the rec4ipt of which ____ is hereby acknowledged do hereby sell transfer and convey to grantee their heirs and assigns the following property in Union County Ky., viz;-
A parcel of land lying in Union County Kentucky on the waters of Anderson Creek it being a part of the Alex McClure thousand acre survey and bounded as follows: Beginning at a poplar tree on the south corner of M. Daley’s Land near the Henderson Road, thence W 41 E 62 7/10 poles to a stone & dogwood thence south 49 E 18 6/10 poles to a stake in the Henderson & Sulphur Spring road sassafras and white oak pointers thence with the road S 57 W 6 poles S 45 W 21 poles to a stone in said road thence S 49 E 46 poles to a black oak and dogwood thence S 31 W 24 8/10 poles to an elm & 3 dogwoods in J. Kennedy’s line thence N 59 W 68 poles to the beginning containing fourteen and ¾ (14 ¾) acres of land.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same with all buildings thereon and appurtenances thereto belonging to the grantee their heirs and assigns forever with covenant of General warranty grantor relinquish all right o homestead dower and other contingent rights therein For deed to grantor see deed from George W. McClure & wife of dte December 5th 1873 recorded in deed book No. 26 page 13 Union County Court Clerks office.

I, J. E. Brinson a Notary Public in and for the County and state aforesaid do certify that the foegoing deed from Winnie Gilchrist of Union County, Ky. to Dorcas Sina Williams and Clara Bland and Dan Gilchrist was on 24 day February 1906 produced to me in my county and acknowledged by the said Winnie Gilchrist in due form of law to be her act and deed as specified herein and I hereby certify the to the proper office for record. Given under my hand this 24 day of February 1906
