Ulster Settlers Database at Clericus Digital Humanities research project of St. Patrick's College Maynooth on the prosopography of the group of largely Protestant settlers who arrived during the multiple Plantations of Ulster by the British Crowns. The group became known as Ulster Scots after arrival in Ireland or as Scotch-Irish as they were known after migrating again from Ulster to the Crown Colonies in North America. Link Up Here. Notepad ++ is a free stand-alone text editor that is FAR SUPERIOR to Windows Notepad or MS Word. Notepad++ is a very powerful text and source code editor for coding and also for composing formatted ASCII text for copying and pasting directly to WikiTree profiles without any "smart quotes", "format code", or other word processing artifacts.
