With the new guidance on living notables, I was wondering if somebody here was interested in adding Samuel L. Jackson. I have previously added his parents and as much ancestry/cousins as I could find, but did not add him since he is living. But somebody who is familiar with creating notables might like to add him, and attach to his family, starting with Montgomery-14056.

Side-note - he was featured on "Finding your Roots", but I did not use that as a reference. (TBH, I don't remember if I saw that episode).

Hi Rob,

Samuel Jackson's profile already exists, but is unlisted. Do you want to private message me to see if we can coordinate connecting him to his family? However, I have a feeling we may run into some duplicates once he gets opened. Emma

While documenting my GGGGrand Uncle Samuel Parker Garrigues (1793-1835), I created numerous profiles for the kidnapped and/or rescued black children mentioned in documents such as https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Garrigues-389-11

I haven't known how to categorize these individuals so that teams that would be interested in them would find them, so I'm reaching out here to let you know that they're there and could use appropriate categorization.

I've been helping K Raymoure with the 55th Mass - https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:55th_Massachusetts_Volunteer_Infantry

I also did some work on Buffalo Soldiers by creating profiles for those that were Medal of Honor recipients. I do not believe there are any significant numbers of profiles for USCT. That would be another important sub-project.
