Disputed Existence

  • Francis Bryan (abt.1549-abt.1640)
  • m. Ann (Smith) Bryan (1560-1635)
  • c. William Smith Bryan (1579-1667)
    • I just took a look at this profile and it looks to me that all 4 profiles, the man, his wife and a couple of parents should all be named in a one week "Disproven Existence Notice" on G2G. Using that title will keep clear what's intended. After a week, if Southern Colonies doesn't want to be profile manager of any of the 4, Disproven Existence can take over as profile manager. Disproven Existence profiles do need to be managed by some project. Day-1904 07:29, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
  • m. Catherine (Morgan) Bryan (abt.1604-1680)
  • c. 14 children attached, all listed as living full life (no young deaths), so most should have married and had several children. ONly 3 of 14 listed as married, and they have 1, 1 and 4 children respectively.
  • Elizabeth Isabelle (Downing) Edwards (abt.1692-1742)
    • this profile seems to state research has shown she did not exist.
    • if so, this profile should be cleaned up to (a) prove she did not exist, and (b) document if can be determined any genealogies that propagate her false existence.
