- Aleš has created a WikiTree+ search that finds profiles that contain the dreaded Millennium File or Edmund West Family Data Collections as sources. It is a goal of this project to replace those with better sources. Here's how to find such profiles managed by the US Southern Colonies project: https://plus.wikitree.com/default.htm?report=srch1&Query=SourceJunk+WikiTree-24&MaxProfiles=500&SortOrder=Default&PageSize=10

Let's get this list down to zero! Thanks!
I'm thrilled to be back working for US Southern Colonists! Really missed it while it was dormant. Although I live in Southern California, many of my ancestors came through Virginia and the Carolinas. Much of my research has been centered in those areas as well as related locations such as Tennessee and Kentucky.
I decided to start with my own watchlist to see whose profiles needed improving. Much to my chagrin I found several with NO sources! Those came from back in 2014 when I uploaded a couple of gedcoms without thought for where I got that information. In the process have been updating and finding duplicates, working on related profiles from the area and period, and generally trying to clean house a bit. WikiTree+ is being very useful in finding duplicates now that I am learning how to use it.
Looking forward to getting to know other Sourcerers and working with all of you.
