This free space page has been created to help with the connection of Kent profiles to our global tree. As a point of reference, on 1 December 2021 there were 12,603 unconnected Kent profiles.

There are three tables on this page.

The trees listed in the Main Table contain more recent profiles. They should be easier to connect, and some may have connecting hints added. If you want to work on an unconnected tree, please add your name to the Working On column, and add Connected and the date, next to your name once it is completed.

The second table contains links to trees that only contain Very early profiles and as such will be a lot more challenging to connect. They are added here as a reminder that they still need some attention.

And the third table will be updated with Connected trees, and will be a record of our success.

If you find a group of Kent unconnected profiles that you'd like connected (they can be from your own watchlist), then do please either add them yourself to the table, or send Carol K the details of just one of the profiles in the tree and I'll add it for you. It doesn't matter how many profiles are in the unconnected tree, they all need connecting at some point.

Please remember that where HINTS have been added, all profiles created must be fully sourced. The connection route runs from the connected profile towards the unconnected, and dates given after each name are for guidance only. You may also find some variation in the spelling of surnames.

Location formatting, and adding England

Location fields need to be in the format village/town, county, country (the commas are important). The following queries return profiles that have England missing from the location, but are mostly from Kent, England. They just need the country added, any missing commas inserted, and the spelling of the town/village corrected if necessary.

Here's a tip if you've only a few minutes to spare. Don't bother to put your name against any task, just pick one and clear a few from the bottom of their list. (started mid July 2024)
