Love this photo of Jim Long (right) and Henry Lush, old whalers from Encounter Bay who, after the whaling finished, worked the lifeboat at Port Elliot and saved many a person and ship.

I love your account of the Endeavour's voyage and wrecking, Valerie. I'm sure Australia Project would be interested in it as a story of convict escape. Do you think you could make it into a Free Space Page? I know if I mention it to Aust. Proj, the first thing they'll say is "That's too long for a Category description". What do you think?

Hi Valerie. I've created Category: Australia, Sealers and Whalers and moved my people into it. Now I'm adding my links to the Scrapbook page.
