My father's name was Cortland Lake Vanderbeek-102,'Lake' being an unusual middle name. He was (mis-) named after his grandfather Court Lake Vanderbeek-105. I am trying to determine where the 'Lake' name comes from. I speculate the Couty Lake name comes from (Vanderbeek-105)'s Great Uncle Court Lake-5014 but have on clear documentation for this connection.
