Victims of Serial Crime

Wherever you're living in the world, I guarantee you can name a famous serial killer from your country. We're all familiar with the Ted Bundys, John Wayne Glovers and Ian Bradys of the world. Indeed, even when we don't catch them they are immortalised as our Zodiac Killers and Jack the Rippers, but how many of us can name any of their victims?

This project aims to research the genealogies of victims of serial crime, and give them a name and a past that can be easily accessed. Too often they go overlooked as props in a wider story, especially if they are on the fringes of society, and I hope this does something in a small way to address this.

My experience is in British genealogy, so I will be primarily focused on victims of British serial crime. Anyone is very welcome to join the project whatever their nationality or expertise. Please message me or get in contact via Fawcett-986.

Should any relatives of the victims happen to see one of these profiles and wish for it to be taken down I shall of course do so. Likewise if they wish to add anything themselves I would be more than happy.
