Location: Victoria, Australia

The aim of this page is to eventually have it as a location to describe a brief history of the Victorian Gold Rush, which lead to the quick and massive influx of people living in Victoria, which actually made Victoria the largest state in Australia by population, for a 50 year period. It would probably pay to look at all the major gold regions in Victoria, i.e. Bendigo, Ballarat, Beechworth, Walhalla, and whatever else people may think of. It should hopefully provide a list of key people involved in the gold rush.
In the mean time, this page is a location to have a list of things that can be done, in order to present the historical events and people who were involved in the Victorian gold rush, so that we can endeavour to have profiles for all of these people.
