Ossian Hall and Ravensworth need to be added.
edited by Gina (Pocock) Jarvi
Ossian Hall was built on the Ravensworth land grant by Nicholas Battaile Fitzhugh II (1764-1814), son of Henry Cooke Fitzhugh (1723-1783). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_Battalle_Fitzhugh
His son had the following slaves in 1850 and 1860 Slaves of Augustine Washington Fitzhugh
William Henry Fitzhugh (1792-1830) https://ravensworthstory.org/people/enslaved-people/slaves-whfitzhugh-1830/
I was working on this person profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Russell-37335 when I learned of Hendrick's. I googled the plantation and apparently there is a cemetery there for slaves. It's interesting.
