"Ossian Hall was one of three large residences, along with Oak Hill, and Ravensworth, owned by the Fitzhugh family in Fairfax County." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ossian_Hall

Ossian Hall and Ravensworth need to be added.

Thanks for that lead Connie, but in order to create a plantation page, the profile of the slave owner(s) and the sources for the 40+ enslaved he/they held need to be on that profile. We create these pages when we have the full picture of the slave owner(s) on that property and the enslaved they held. If you have any of that info already on WT, you can share those profiles here and I will work on them.

A plantation page needed - Hendrick's Plantation in Mecklenburg County.

I was working on this person profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Russell-37335 when I learned of Hendrick's. I googled the plantation and apparently there is a cemetery there for slaves. It's interesting.
