Research Notes
- 1867 Marriage in Chile.
No record for this marriage event has been found. However the 1881 Scotland census, recorded that their two children James Murdoch YOUNG and Juanita YOUNG were born in Chile. Also it is likey that James had named their house in Auchinleck as "Serena House" as recorded in later census (1891) and James 1889 statutory registration of his death. This all supports that Mary and James were likely married in Chile.
