Compton Cemetery, or Watts Cemetery, is on Down Lane in Compton. In the late 1800s, the churchyard was becoming full, so the land for Watts Cemetery was purchased. The cemetery and its chapel were designed by Mary Watts, wife of the well-known artist George Watts, and the chapel is now a tourist attraction; the cemetery is still in use for new burials.
