November is WikiTree's anniversary. October is Family History month so we are considering the 1st Saturday or weekend in November. The response from the community was that this would be a great time to do it. This is only a month after our Source-a-Thon so we may want to do something different.

• Projects showing connections to famous people - "If some projects like European Aristocrats or Magna Carta could feature well known historical figures and how to connect to them on WikiTree, that could draw a lot of interest. Anyone related to the Acadian Broussards is likely related to Beyoncé as a different example. " - Cindy Cooper
• Acadia/Louisiana project team-up - "The Acadians might not have broad interest but they have an almost unique history with the mass deportations and how that affected individuals and a whole culture. It could be of interest to those in France with the Acadian origins, the refugees and the jumping off place for many who went to the US. Thus the Cajun population in the US was created. Maybe the Louisiana project would collaborate with us. Finding other topics that involve other countries could extend the appeal. Maybe we could even make some of them bi-lingual " - Cindy Cooper
