The "Thons"
WikiTree holds "marathons" to concentrate and focus work on a task where all WikiTree members may participate over a weekend:
- Clean-A-Thons concentrate on cleaning up profile suggestions for the one-world tree's health using Data Doctors suggestions;
- Source-A-Thons focus on populating profiles with proper sources following the Sourcerers;
- Scan-A-Thons upload images to preserve family and historical photos to WikiTree, and
- Connect-A-Thons connect profiles to the one-world global tree using the Connectors guidelines.
Throughout the Thon weekend, chats are held to cheer each other on, award prizes and discuss the progress. The chat recordings are archived and available to watch.
Each image gives the number of videos available for that Thon.
