Original Will

In the name of [God] Amen I David Ruming of Bremhill in the County
of Wilts[hire] being at present of a sound disposing mind and memory for which
I bless God I do this Eighteenth day of January in the year of our Lord
One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Seven make and ordain this my
Last will and Testament in manner following First I Resign my Soul
to almighty God hoping forgiveness of all my Sins and my body I commit
to the Earth to be buries in a Christian and decent manner at the discretion of
my Executors herein after named and as for touching and concerning
all such worldly Estate and affects wherewith it hath pleased God to bless
me with I Give and bequeath the same as follows
First I will that all such debts which I shall owe at the time of my decease
Together with my Funerel Charges and Expences be paid and satisfied
by my Executors herein after named

First I Give and bequeath to my son Peter Ruming my Clock,

Also I Give and bequeath to my three Children my Son Peter Ruming
And Daughter Ann the wife of Abraham Brooks and my Daughter
Mary the wife of Edward Mansell my Dwelling House that my
Son Peter Ruming now Lives in and also my household Goods and
all my affects all to be Euqally Devided and parted between them three
also I make and ordain my Soninlaw Abraham Brooks and my Soninlaw
Edward Mansell my whole and Sole Joynt Executors of this my Last
will and Testament hereby Revoking and Disanulling all other former
wills by me made confirming this only to be my Last will and
Testament whereof I haue hereunto Sett my hand and Seal the day
and year aboue written

Of the Worshipful Sir Charles
Gould Knt Dr of Laws Chanclr of
the Diocese of Sarum and by
him Admin[istration] of the Effects of the
Dec[eas]ed was granted to Abraham
Brooks
& Edward Mansell the
joint Ex[ecu]tors within named
(being first sworn to the Truth of
the s[ai]d will to & form the same
to make a true and perfect
Inventory & render a just Acc[oun]t
