In the name of god Amen: The fyth day of November in the yeare of our lord one thousand six hundred and Eleven, I Agnes Stodderd of heaton in the county of Stafford widowe being sick in bodie, but of good and perfect remembrence (gog bee praysed therfore) doe make and ordaine this my present Testament conteyning herin my last will in manner & forme following: ffirst I comend my soule into the hande of Almightie god my creator and to Jesus Christ my redeemer by whose meritte & passion I trust to obtaine remission of all my sinnes. Item I comitt my bodie to the earth to bee buryed in honest & decent buryall. Item I geve & bequeath to margery sont my daughter thirteene shillings four pence of lawfull money of england in the name and full satisfaction of her filiall porcon or child pt of all my goode to bee paid at the end of two yeares next after my decease. Item I geve and bequeath to margaret Turnock alias Stodderd reputed daughter of Roberte Stodderd deceased twentie & five shillings and eight pence and my best garment and the bigger of the two coffers standing in the parlor where I lye in lieu & eschange for her owne coffer. Item I geve to Willm Pillesburie son of willm Pillesbury my son in lawe two ewes and two lambes. Item All the rest of my goode and cattells (my debtes and legacies being first paid and my funeral expenses being discharged) I geve and bequeath to willm Pilleburie my sonne in lawe. Item my will is that the said legacie of xxvis viiid shall not be due to be paid to the said margaret Turnock alias Stodderd until the end of one whole yeare next after she shall bee a lawfull age to seal an acquittance for the same. Item I make and ordaine the said willm Pillesburie my sonne in lawe the true and lawfull Executor of this my last will & Testament and have published an sealed the same as my last will in the presence of these witnesses viz John Knight, Thomas henderne, Robt Pillesburie.[1]
