In dei nome amen In the xxiijth day of Aprill in the xxxvjth yeare of the Raigne of our most gracious sov’aigne Ladie Elizabethe by the grace of god Queene of England or 1594 I Annes Verno’ of the parishe of Awdley in the Countie of Staff widowe doe ordeyne constitute and make beinge […] diseased & sicke in bodie but yet neverthelesse of good and pfecte memorie prayse be to the Lord therefore) this my Last will and testament in manner and forme followinge That is to say

First I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of thalmightie and my bodie to Christion buriall in the parishe churche yarde of Awdeley at the highe chancell ende neare unto my ancestors

It[e]m I give and bequeathe unto John Vernon Rondoll Vernon William Vernon and Robert Vernon my sonnes to be equallie devided amongst them my […] of oxon beinge in number six my harriott excepted onely

It[e]m I give and bequeathe unto everie one of my childrens children as namelie unto everie one of those wch are nowe borne and alive or that any of them shalbe nowe wth childe wth vjs viijd moreover I give and bequeathe unto Agnes daughter of Thomas Rowley my sonne in Lawe the best ewe & the best Lambe I have
