of Norffolk widdowe and within ye diocese of Norwich
whole of minde and of p[er]fect remembrance praisee be
God Doe ordaine and make this my p[re]sent last will and
testament in manner and forme followinge viz rifusinge
setting void and disannulling all other wills and testaments
formerlie by me made First and principallie I committ
and commend my sowle into ye hands of Allmightie god
my maker and creator and Jesus Christe my sweete
Saviour and onelie redeemer and god ye holighest
my Sanctifier and comforter trusting to inioye
the p[re]sence of ye immortall God amongst ye Saintes in
heaven and my boddie to be buried in ye churchyard
of Hingham aforesaid neere my late husband and my
children Item I give and bequeath unto ye poore people
of Hingham aforesaid fortie shillinges of lawfull
money of England to be distributted unto them by ye
howses as their severall wants shall requier
in ye winter time in ye hardest-time Item I give to
Mr Cocke five shillings to make for me a
funerall sermon Item I give and bequeath to my sonne
John Cocke sevine poundes of lawfull money of
England to be paid to him within one yeare next after
my decease Item I give and bequeath to Robert Cocke
my grandchild sonne of the said John Cocke five
poundes of like lawfull money of England to be paid
into ye handes of his father; within one yeare next after
my decease which five poundes I will his father shall
imploi to ye use of the said Robert untill he shall accom-
plishe his age of eighteene years and the *th said

Robert to have ye stock and imploiement and howse
Item I give and bequeath to Edmond Cock my sonne
sevine poundes of lawfull money of England to be paid
unto him within the said tearme and to John his sonne
and to Marie his daughter and to either of them
fiftie shillinges to be paid within the said tearme w[i]th said
fiftie shillings a peece I will it shall be paid into their
fathers handes to their use and he to imploie it to their
severall uses untill they shall attaine their severall
ages of eighteene years, and then they to have the
said sumes with ye imploiement thereof Item I give
and bequeath to Henrie Cocke my sonne twelve
pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto
him within the said tearme, and to Amy his daughter
five poundes to be paid within the said tearme in to ye
handes of her said father, And to the childe with-
in ye wombe of ye wife of ye said Henrie three poundes
within the said tearme, to be likewise paid into ye handes
of ye said Henrie, which said severall sommes of money
I will their said father shall imploie to their severall
uses till they shall attaine to their severall ages of xviijteene
yeares And at their severall ages of eighteene yeares
I will they shall have their severall stocks with the
imploiement thereof Item I give to Marie Fitlinge my
daughter: wife of John Fitlinge tenne poundes of law-
full money of England to be paid to her within the said
tearme and to Thomas and Marie Fitlinge my grand

children and to either of them five poundes to be paid into
their fathers handes to their use within the said tearme
which said severall sommes I will their said father
shall imploye to their uses until they shall attaine to
their severall ages of eightenne yeares, And then
they to have the stocke and imploiement thereof
Item I will my full intent and meaning is that
if Robert Cock my grandchilde die before he shall
attaine to his severall age of eighteene yeares then
his father to have it and so ye parents of all ye rest
Item I give and bequeath to Marie Fitlinge my
daughter one posted bedstead with ye furniture there-
unto belonginge Item I give and bequeath to Edward
Cock my sonne five and twentie poundes of lawfull
money of England to be paid unto him within the said
tearme, and one featherbed whereon I lie, one bolster,
and pillowe one blankett and one trictbed Item I will ye
all my woollen and linninge which I shall have at ye daie of
my death shalle equallie devided betweene Henrie Cockes
wife and Edward Cock one cowe which my sonne in lawe
John FItling hath in tearme Item I give and bequeath
to Robert Cock sonne of John Cock one silver spoone and
one chese, and to Edward Cock one silver spoone Item
I will that John Fitling my sonne in lawe shall paie all
the said severall somes of money which he hath in handes
accordinge to the true intent and meaning of this my
last will and testament, at ye daies and times herein
verified, whom I make one of my executors And

executors all ye residue of my goodes cattells and
chattells, debtes and utensills of howsehold (illegible)
before speciallie given and bequeathed (illegible)

of this my last will and testament Acquir and bequeathe
to the said John Fitling and Edward Cocke towards
ye charge of my funerall In witnes whereof the
said Alice Fitlinge hereunto have sett my hand and
