I Anna Gilman The wife of Reuben Gilman of
Hardingham in the County of Norfolk gentleman (revoking all former
wills by me made) Do make this my last will and testament in
manner following (that is to say) First I give and devise unto the said
Reuben Gilman my husband and his heirs All and every my
Messuages Lands Tenements and Heriditaments whatsoever (both
Freehold and Copyhold) situate lying and being in Wymandham
in the said county or in the town adjoining and now in the use
and occupation of Henry Driver or his undertenants Also I give
devise limit and appoint unto the said Reuben Gilman my husband
for and during the term of his natural life All and every my
Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever (both
Freehold and Copyhold) now in the use and occupation of William
Pye his tenant or undertenants situate lying and being in the
several parishes of Thimblethorpe, Foulsham and Reepham in
the said county or in the town adjoining (without impeachment of or
for any manner of waste) And from land after the decease
of the said Reuben Gilman my husband I give devise limit and
appoint unto Jermyn Heyhoe Gilman my son and to his heirs
(charged and chargeable as herein after mentioned) all and every
my said messuages lands tenements and heriditaments whatsoever
(both freehold and copyhold) situate lying and in Thimblethorpe
Foulsham and Reepham aforesaid or town adjoining and now in
the use and occupation of the said William Pye or his undertenants
And I give and bequeath unto Frances Heyhoe Gilman Elizabeth
Gilman Reuben Gilman Thomas Gilman Hester Gilman Charles
Gilman and John Gilman my sons and daughters the several and
respective sums of one hundred and fifty pounds apiece of good and lawfull
money of Great Britain and I do hereby charge my said messuages
lands and tenements herein before by me given unto my said son
Jermyn Heyhoe Gilman to and with the payment of the said several
legacies herein before by me given unto my said sons and
daughters the same to be paid within six calendar months next after
the said Jermyn Heyhoe Gilman my son or his heirs shall be
intitled to the said estate by virtue of this my Will But it is my will
and mind that in case my said sons and daughters or any of them
shall happen to depart this life before their legacies become
due and payable then & in such case I give and bequeath the legacy
or legacies of him her or them so dying to their legal representatives
Also it is my will and mind in case the child or children I shall
leave living at my death shall all happen to depart this life
without leaving issue lawfully begotten before they shall attain the
age of twenty one years or in case I shall depart this life without
leaving issue in either of such cases I give and devise all &
every of my messuages lands tenements and Hereditaments
whatsoever (both freehold and copyhold situate lying and being in
the said county of Norfolk unto the said Reuben Gilman my
husband and his heirs for ever Lastly I do hereby make
nominate and appoint the said Reuben Gilman my husband sole Executor
of this my Will In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will
and testament set my hand and seal this second day of December
in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
eighty seven.
