[1] In the name of god Amen The twenty Forth day of May
[2] in the yeare of our Lord god, one Thowsand Six hundred
[3] Seventy and one, I Ann Davemport of Wheltrough the
[4] County of Chester widow, being in p[er]fect mind and memory […] Doe Make and ordene this
[5] my Last will and Testament in Manor and Forme
[6] Following (That is to say) First I commit my soule
[7] in to the handes of allmighty god, and Jesus Christ m[y]
[8] Redemer, Trusting by his blood and Merrites one[ly]
[9] to bee Saveed, and by noe other way or Menes, A[s]
[10] for my wordly Estate I Doe give and bequeth a[s]
[11] Followeth, Item I give unto My Nephew Thomas Swt[nam?]
[12] of Swettenham Esqr the Sum of Five poundes Item I [give?]
[13] unto Mary Jowdrell my Nise the Sum of Five poundes, [Item?]
[14] I doe give to my Nise Abigall Swetnam the Sum [of?]

[18] silver Spoomes and Dammase bortcloth and a towell Item

[20] Item I doe give to Mary Davemport my goddaughter a trunke wit[h]
[21] tow peticote in it one for her selfe, one her sister Margret the
[22] other, Item to my sister Ellin I give one plene hankershete and
[23] to her sister Elizabeth annother, I[t]em I doe give to my sister
[24] katherine Smith my best gowne and a gould guife[?] Item I
[25] doe give to my Nephew Thomas Smithes wife my best Sadelcloth
[26] and a Riding stocke[?], Item I give to my sister Elnor Hoolford
[27] my best peticote all my Bras[?] and pewter Item I doe give to
[28] my Nephew Edward Swettenham one siled bed with fower bedes
[29] boulsters and all other linen belonging to it, but to Lefe them there for
[30] to bee used with [...] untill hee hathe accation for it and
[31] Fore pece of sheete and one dosen of Napkines Item
[32] I doe give to my kinsman John Houlford Five Shillings
[33] Item I doe give to my Cozen bostock of Moulton five shillings
[34] For all the Rest of my Estate I doe give and bequeth to my
[35] brother william Swettenham hee first peeing all my
[36] Deptes] and Discharging my Finirall expences And I doe
[36] Nominate and appount my browther Mr William Swettenham
