Will of Anne Earle
This is a transcription of the register copy of the Will of Anne Earle of Badburgham in the County of Cambridge. It was written on 1628 and proved at London on 27 October 1632.[1][2]

In the name of God Amen The Seuen and Twentieth
daie of June in the yeare of the raigne of our Soueraigne Lord Charles by the grace of God of
England Scotland France and Ireland king defendor of the Faith .. the Fourth one thousand
six hundred twentie Eyght I Anne Earle of Badburgham in the Countie of Cambridge ~
Singlewoman being sicke in bodie but of perfect remembrance thankes bee to God therfore doe
make this my last Will and Testam[en]t in manner following

First I Commend my soule to ~~
Allmightie God my Creator and Redeemer stedfastly hopeing through the meritte of Jesus ~~
Christ to haue pardon for my sinnes and to bee accounted one of the Elect Children of God And ~
my body to the Earth from where it first Came And as touching that small portion? of wordly
goods I possesse in this transitorie life I giue and dispose of them thus

I will and giue vnto my
Sister Elizabeth Dauies and to my Sister Alice Browne all my Wearing apparell and all my ~
lynnen my brasse and my two trunkes equallie to bee deuyded betweene them by my Executor ~~
herein following named and appoynted And also my embroydred Cushions and a Carpett and an
embroydred Cubbard cloth six playne Cushions and a greene Rugg likewise equallie to bee ~
devyded betweene them

Item whereas my Master Tobie Pallauicine Esquire oweth vnto mee ~
upon his bond Four score pounds and vpwards My Will is that if my Executor shall procure & come
on the said money Then I will and dispose of the same as followeth

Pallavicine Fiue pounde thereof to buy her a Ring to weare my remembrance of mee

vnto my brother Thomas Earle tenne poundes to bee paid vnto him withyn one Moneth next after my
Executor shall receiue the said money oweing vnto mee of my said Master

my brother Richard Earle likewise tenne poundes to bee paid vnto him at the said tyme

and giue vnto my brother William Earle tenne poundes to be paid at like tyme

to my said two sisters likewise out of the said som[m]e of money to either of them tenne poundes to bee
paid to bee paid at like tyme aforesaid

Item I will and giue to euery one of my said brothers and
sisters Children twentie shillings to bee paid vnto them Generally? at like tyme aforesaid

and giue vnto my two brothers in law Edward Dauies and Thomas Browne to either of them Fortie
Shillinges out of the foresaid som[m]e of money at like tyme as aforesaid

Chattells and mouevables whatsoeuer is myne not afore giuen I will and giue vnto my fellow ser....
