This is a transcription of the register copy of the Will of Anne Parry of Tattershall, Lincolnshire. It was written on 26 October 1584 and proved on 2 December 1584. [1]

In dei nomine amen, Memorandum that Anne Parry of Tatt[er]shall
in the Countie of Lincoln singlewoman about the six and twentith daie of October Anno Domini
one thousand fyve hundred eightie faure: being sicke in body yet perfect in remebrannce, didd
constitute and make her last will and testament nuncupatiue in manner and forme following. First
shee gave and bequeathed her soule to the handes of allmightie god ^[margin note: & her body to the grounde].

gave vnto Nicholas Thatcher her brother in lawe one Obligation wherein her brother
Jeffrey Parra standeth bounde to her for the payment of Fyftye poundes: vsing these
speeches (my brother Jeffrey gapeth? for my deathe) but I pray yowe brother Thatcher
(according to the ?? Atturney wch youe haue of me) sue out this Obligation and take the
money into your hande wch I gyve youe: And all the residue of my goodes whatsoeuer ./
Witnessed hereof the sayde Nicholas Thatcher & Anthony Snoden? and George Browne./

Secundo die mensis Decembris Anno Domini mill[esi]mo quingentesimo octage[si]mo
Quarto. Juramento Emanauit commissio Nicholas Thatcher de Tattershall in Comitatu
Lincoln gen??: ad administrandum bona iura et eredita dict defunct iuxta tenorem testamenti
