In the name of God amen. I Anthonie Leeson of Franckton in the Countie of
Warwicke bachellor of the Lawe beinge sicke of bodie but of good remembrannce thankes be to Allmightie god
doe ordeine and make this my last will and testamente in mannor and forme followinge. First I bequeathe my
Soule to Allmightie god and my bodie to be buried in the p[ar]ishe churche or churchyarde when and where yt shall please
god to take me to his greate mercye. Item I give and bequeathe towardes the rep[ar]acons of the chappel at Abthorpe xii
and to the poore people of Franckton fyve shillinges. Item I give and bequeathe all that my farme of Abthorpe with
all the cropp of corne [rennynge?] and growinge uppon the same with all my terme of yeares yet to come with the
cropp of corne and hey growing this yeare on my tenemente in Foxcott fielde unto Avis my wief. Item I give
and bequeathe to the saide Avis my wief six of my best milche kyne with my best bull two yearlinge calves
and two weaninge calves the best she cann chuse. Item I give and bequesthe to the saide Avis my wief iiii oxon or
steres a [wame??] ploughe and all other thinges thereunto belonginge or in aine wise p[er]tyninge beine at Abthorpe.
Item I give and bequeathe to the saide Avis my wief all my implementes of householde stuffe at Abthorpe savinge
and excepted one little fetherbed and boulster a truckle bedd bedsteede with all thinges to the same belonginge
which I gave to Jane Leeson my daughter with foure pairs of sheetes and also excepted which I give and bequeathe to
Arthur Leeson my sonne and excepted and [??] iiii paires of sheetes which I give and bequeathe to Thomas
Leeson and the mentioned rest I give to Avis my wief. Item I give and bequeathe to the saide Avis my wief one mare
and my white nagge with all my hovelles and firewoodd in the yarde with halfe my tymber the other
halfe I geve and bequeathe to Arthure and Thomas Leeson my sonnes. Item I give unto the saide Avis my
wief tenne pounds in redie money to buy her fortie sheepe. Item all my landes and tenements with
all other my hereditamentes with all woodes underwoodes waters pastures comens of pastures thereunto
belonginge or in anie wise p[er]teyninge as which are knowne comonlie by the name of the mannor of Franckton
with the advowson or righte of patronage of the p[ar]ishe churche of Franckton in the countie of Warwicke
save as excepted and reserved one [mose?] or tenemente with one close called Franckton yarde now in the company
of Edmunde Tyrrie and also excepted and reserved those two yarde landes latelie in the company of
Willm Neddes with six goodes of meadow called grindelles and those lees abutting on [rolcras??] and tyrrie
yardes ind with comons and pasture belonginge and apperteyninge thereunto all which landes and tenements
and all other my hereditaments knowne by the name of the mannor of Franckton onlie excepted and reserved
as are aforesaid. I give and bequeathe to Thomas Leeson my sonne for terme of his naturall lief and after
his decease to the heires males of his bodie lawfullie begotten and for wante of suche yssue unto Arthure
Leeson for terme of his lief and after his decease to the heires males of his bodie lawfullie begotten. And for
wante of suche heires to the right heires of me the saide Anthonie for ever. Item I give and bequeathe all
yarde now in the accupacon of Edmunde Tyrrie and those two yarde landes latelie in the occupacon

of William Nibbes with six goodes of meadow called grindelles and those lees abuttinge on colvass and Tyrrie his
yardes ende with all comon meadow and pasrure there belonginge and appertayninge unto Arthure Leeson my sonne for
terme of his lief and after his decease to the heires males of his bodie lawfullie begotten and for lack of suche yssue to
Thomas Leeson for terme of his lief and after his decease to the heires males of his bodie lawfullie begotten and for
lacke of suche heires to the right heires of me the saide Antonie forever. Item I give and bequeathe to Jane Leeson
my daughter one hundrethe poundes of lawful money of Englande within one yeare next after my decease. Item I give
and bequeathe to Arthure Leeson my sonne three mylche or berriche kyne of those kyne I meane whereof my wief shall
take her choise with one yearlinge calve and two weaninge calves then that be at Abthorpe. Item I give and bequeathe
to Arthure my [?ort] carte at Franckton with a plowe coltes and share and three paires of horse traces at Abthorpe. Item
I give and bequeathe to the saide Arthure fyve quarters of Barley at Franckton and three quarters of pease
ro sowe his croppe and fyve pounds of lawful money towardes the buying him a teeme to plowe his landes. Item
I give and bequeathe to Willm my poore boy twentie shillimges. Item I give and bequeathe to Edwarde Haddocke
and Thomas Mainsorow my servantes to either of them fyve shillinges and to Steven Greves my servante two
shillimges. Item I give and bequeathe to Catherin Everet and Julian Greves to either of them fyve shillings
Item all the residue of my goodes cattelles debtes and redie money. I give and bequeathe to Thomas Leeson
my sonne to paie all my debts legacies and funeralles accordinge to the greate rente and hope I repose in hym
desiringe also to discharge me of tenne poundes to be paide Mr Mathershodd whereof he hath a bill of my hande
therefor demannds the and request hym to see the saide tenne poundess paide in suche sorte and order as Mr Bynley
his mynde and will was and advertise hym that yf that bill had not bene yt had bene done longe or this tyme
and therefore let yt be donne now uppon his [??]. In witness whereof I have written this will and testamente
with my owne hande and subscribed my name Anno d[om]ini 1587 and if Maye the xxth in presence of those whose
names are subscribed [] me Anthonin Leeson, Thomas Proctor, John Poultnor, Cutbert Tyrrey, John Smythe
mynister of Franckton
