This is a transcription of the register copy of the willl of Anthonye Tailor of Wookye written 20 March 1574. Probate was granted on 16 April 1576

Anthonij's will passed probate on 16 April 1576.[1]

In the name of God amen the twentith daye of marche in the
yeare of o[ur] Lorde goda thousande five hindred sevaentie fowre I Anthonye Tailor of the parrisshe of Wookye husbandman
beinge sicke in bodie but of good and perfecte memorie do make and ordaine this my laste will and testamente in manne[r] and
forme followinge

First I give and bequeathe my Sowle to almightie god my onlie Saviou[r] and reademmer and my Bodye
to be buried within the pasrrisshe churcheyard of wookye in a sincer and certaine hope of the resurrectione to everlastinge lyfe
at the laste

Item I give to my five Sonnes a hundred marks of good and lawfull monny of englande that is to my Sonne
Richarde twentie marks to my Sonne John thelder twenti marks to my Sonne Thomas twentie marks to my Sonne
John thounger twentie marks and to my Sonne Mathewe twenty marks yf anye of my foresaide childrene dye before he
be twentie yeares onlie then this twentie marks hall remaine amongeste his brothers

Item I give to my foresaid fyve
Childrenne to everie one of them a Cowe andd a mare alsoe to everie one of them a ewe and a lambe and a silver Spone

I give to my fowere younger Sonnes that is to John thelder to Thomas to John the younger and to Mathewe my Lease
of Overlande? that is of Robinsclose and of Kensome meade the which close and grounde my wife shall have and enjoye as
longe as she keepe her selfe widowe and then after it shall remaine to my aforesaid fowere childrenne ioyntlie altogether
yf anye of my childrenne dye then the aforesaid lease and growunde shall remaine amongste the other of them dureinge the
whoale yearees of the lease
