- I, Benjamin Wigginton, of the County of Bedford and State of Virginia, do make and ordain this my last will and testament. I have herefore given to my daughter, Martha I. Weir and to my son F. M. Wigginton both citizens of Texas, their full share of my estate and have given some property to my daughter C.C. Cox and have, by a deed of trust to Wm. H. Bolling, provided for the children of my said daughter, I therefore will and direct that my three children above named shall receive nothing more from my estate, but I desire and direct that all the residue of my property shall be divided into two equal parts which give and bequeath to my two daughters Ann E. Bolling and Emma W. Terry, for their sole and separate use, free from the debts contracts, liabilities and control of their husbands with full power and authority to my said daughters to dispose of and manage as they see fit, and with like power and authority to dispose of said property by wills at their death.
- In deed of trust to Wm. H. Bolling, I have conveyed one third of the tract of land lying on Ivy Creek in Bedford County, containing seven hundred and fifity three acres, upon which I reside, in dividing the remainder two-thirds between my daughters Bolling and Terry, I desire and so direct that between them so divided as to leave the dwelling house and improvements connected therewith wholly on one of said third and that my daughter Ann E. Bolling shall have that third.
- In the division of my servants between my said two daughters I desire and direct that my daughter Mrs. Bolling shall have in her lot my negro woman Pauline and my negro girl Martha that I purchased from Wm. H. Terry as administrator of A. Perkins, but the woman Pauline is too valuable without reference to her qualification as a cook, or washwoman.
- I hereby nominate and appoint my sons in law A. Bolling and Wm. H. Terry and my grandson Wm. H. Bolling the executors of this my last will and testament and I revoke all former wills and codicils.
