Will of Charles N Conard (1822-1893)


I Charles N Conard of Warrington township in the County of Bucks
and state of Pennsylvania being of sound and disposing mind
memory and understanding do make and publish this my last
will and testament in manner and form as follows. That is to say

First. I direct my executors hereinafter named to pay my funeral

expenses and all my just debts as soon as it may be conveniently after my decease.

Item. I direct and empower my hereinafter named executrix and

executor as soon as they can conveniently after my decease to sell
and convert into money all my estate. real. personal and mixed
and for this purpose give them full power to grant and convey
my real estate unto the purchaser or purchasers thereof in as full
and ample a manner as I could do if living and free and clear
of all liens and encumbrances.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Lydia A Conard all the

residue and remainder of my estate converted into money
as aforesaid to be hers absolutely.
And lastly. I nominate and appoint my wife Lydia A Conard
to be the executrix and John Walton of Horsham Mont. Co. Pa. to be
the executor of this my last will and testament.

In testimony whereof I the said Charles N. Conard have to this my last will and testament contained on one sheet of paper subscribed my name and affixed my seal this fifth day of May. A.D. One thousand eight hundred and ninety three.

On the Eighth day of June AD 1893 personally appeared before me Frank N Booz, Register of Wills in and for the county of Bucks Alice S Walton & Phebe W. Conard the subscribing witnesses to the annexed instrument of uniting purporting to be the last will and testament of Charles N. Conard dec'd and being first duly affirmed according to law did depose and say that they were present and saw and heard Chas. N. Conard the Testator sign and seal publish pronounce and declare the annexed paper uniting as and for his last will and testament and that at the time of his so doing he was of sound mind and memory and of disposing understanding to the best of the knowledge and belief.

Be it Remembered that on the Eighth day of June AD 1893 (Seal) the annexed last will and testament of Charles N. Conard deceased was duly proved when letters testamentary thereon were granted unto Lydia A Conard & John Walton the executors therein named they having been duly affirmed well and truly to administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits of the said deceased according to law. And also diligently and faithfully to regard and well and truly comply with the provision of the law relating to Collateral Inheritances.
