I bequeath my soul to Almighty God believing that our Blessed Lady Saint Mary and all other Saints will pray for me. Also I bequeath my body to be buried within the parish church of Saint Martin in Sanbye. I give to the poor people dwelling in Beckingham 6s to be distributed amongst them. I give and bequeath 4s-4d to be distributed to the poor people dwelling in Bole. I give and bequeath to Charles Waney, the son of Thomas Waney, my landlord, 40s-0d to be paid to said Charles when he comes to his lawful age.
I will that Anne Cornynge, my wife, shall have my farm that I dwell upon to bring up my children as long as the said Anne keep herself my widow and remains unmarried. But if the said Anne do marry again, then my will is that my farm and the profits thereof shall go the furtherance of my children during the term of my lease. Also I will and bequeath that my wife, Anne Cornynge, shall have the governance and order of my son Thomas Cornynge and all his portions and profits to him belonging and to keep him at school until he is able to govern the farm himself with the counsel of my supervisors. But I also will that if my wife, Anne Cornynge, do marry and take a husband, then it is my will that my brother-in-law, Robert Godyesonne shall have my farm and occupy the same for the use and profit of all my children unto the time when my eldest son, Robert Cornynge, shall come to his lawful age when he may occupy it for his own profit and paying to the said Robert Godyesonne for his pains in bringing him up , all such cattle as then remain upon the ground. And for his profit in bringing up my wife, children, and cattle upon the said farm, I bequeath him 40s-0d.
