In the name of god amen In the eleventhe daye of Januarie and in the three and twenthyeth yeare of the raygne of o[ur] soveragyne ladie Elizabeth by bthe grace of god queene of Englande ffrance and Irelande defender of the faythe etc? I Cuthberte Henmarshe parson of Congham beinge in perfect memorie thanks be to the lorde therefore doe constitute ordayne and make this my laste will and testament in manner and fome following, ffirst I bequeath my soule to almighty god and to Jhesus Christ his soone through whose merits I believe constantlie to obtayne remission of my synnes and my bodie to be buried in the chancel of St Andrews in Congham. Item I give to James Henmarshe my brother his sonne fyftie three shillings foure pence. Item I give to John Henmarshe his brother tenne shillings. Item I give to Randall Henmarshe his brother tenne shillings I give to John Spear- man five shillings eyght pence Item I give to George Henmarshe the sonne of Ralph Henmarshe ten shillings. Item I give to everie sonne of the sayde George Hen- marshe five shillings eyght pence Item I give to Robt Henmarshe twentie shillings. Item my eldest brother's sonne tenne shillings. Item I give to George Henmarshe the sonne of Thomas Henmarshe twentye shillings Item I give to Ralph Henmarshe tenne shillings. Item Igive to Richarde Henmarshe my black mare Item I give to Elizabeth Henmarshe all my lynnen. Item I give to Henrie/Jennie Henmarshe the cupborde in the hall and the greate chest in the parlor Item I give to John fferne of Kynges Lynne twentye shillings. Item I give to mother Agnes three shillings foure pence. Item I give to three children of John Syssons ...... one fyve shilling Item I give to everie one of my god- children twelve pence except one Thomas Ball which ye payde alredie. Item I give to Richarde Henmarshe all my houses and land in ......... to him and his heires forever Item I give to the sayd Richarde Henmarshe sixe acres and three woodes of copiehold land lienge in .... holden of Mr Yelverton by copie. And I have given surrender into the hands of Humfrey Youle and Willm Starre according to this my laste will and testament. All the residue of my goods not given and bequeathed I give them to Richarde Henmarshe and Henrie Henmarshe whom I constitute ordayne and make my executors of this my last will and testament to be equallie divided betwixst them. In consideration that they shall give to the poore fortie shillings in pence payinge my legacies and bringing my bodie ho..... to the grounde.
