This is a transcript of the Last Will and Testament of Edward Marrows (1805-1876), Carpenter, of 80 Duncombe Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire.[1] Edward was described as a Carpenter, resident at 80 Duncombe Street, Grimsby.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward
Marrows of No 80 Duncombe Street Great Grimsby in the County of
Lincoln Carpenter I give and bequeath unto my Wife Mary Ann
Marrows all my personal estate (except my Leasehold Houses hereinafter
bequeathed) whatsoever and wheresoever for her own use absolutely I
give devise and bequeath All my Real Estate at Market Rasen
or elsewhere and my Leasehold property at Great Grimsby unto my
said Wife for and during her life she paying the interest on the
Mortgage affecting the same and paying the rent and performing the
covenants of the Lease as respects the Leaseholds and from and after
the decease of my said Wife I give devise and bequeath the same
Real and Leasehold property unto my friend Israel Collins of John
Street New Clee near Great Grimsby Contractors Foreman his
heirs executors administrators and assigns according to the natures of
the same estates respectively Upon the following trusts to be performed
by him his heirs executors administrators and assigns Upon trust
to receive the rents and profits of my said Real and Leasehold
property and after paying thereout the expenses of the necessary repairs
of the said property and the rents of the said Leaseholds and performing
the Lessees covenants contained in the Lease and paying the interest
of any Mortgage affecting the same at my decease to apply the
residue of such rents and profits towards the maintenance education
and support of my Grandson Frederick Webster Blythe the son of my
daughter Annie the Wife of Thomas Webster Blythe until he shall
attain the age of twenty one years and when he shall have
attained that age then to convey and assign the same Real and
Leasehold property unto the said Frederick Webster Blythe his heirs
executors administrators and assigns absolutely according to the natures
of the same property respectively But in case my said Grandson
should die in the my lifetime of my said Wife whether having attained
the age of twenty one years of not or before the age of twenty one
years after the death of my said Wife then I devise and bequeath
the same Real and Leasehold property to the said Israel Collins
his heirs executors administrators and assigns absolutely according
to the several natures of my said property free from any trust
and for his own use and benefit I declare that the Mortgage

affecting my said Real and Leasehold property shall be a
charge thereon and not on my personal estate I appoint my said
Wife and the said Israel Collins Executors of my Will I revoke all
my previous testamentary instruments In witness whereof I have
hereunder set my hand this twenty sixth day of January one
thousand eight hundred and seventy six

Proving Transcript

Proved at Lincoln with a Codicil the twenty sixth day of
May 1876 at by the oaths of Mary Ann Marrows Widow the
Relice and Israel Collins the Executors to whom Administration
was granted.

The Testator Edward Marrows was late of 80 Dincombe Street Great
Grimsby in the County of Lincoln Carpenter and died on the twnety
ninth day of April 1876 at Great Grimsby aforesaid
