This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Soan Twopeny of the Bishop's Precinct near the City of Rochester in the County of Kent Gentleman made published & declared the twenty fourth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy first I do hereby revoke and make void all former wills & codicils by me made Also I desire that I may be buried at as little Expense as possible at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named Also I make nominate & appoint my dear wife Susanna Executrix of this my will & also Guardian of all & every my Child and Children born or hereafter to be born And after the decease of my wife I do hereby nominate & appoint my Brothers William Twopeny & Richard Twopeny Guardians of all & every my said Children Also I give devise and bequeath all my Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments & Real Estate whatsoever & wheresoever & parts & shares thereof & also all & every my freehold & leasehold Estates & parts & shares thereof with their & every of their appurtenances & also all money due to me on mortgage and all my Estate & Interest in any hereditaments now mortgaged to me or which shall stand mortgaged to me at my decease and also all & every my ready money and securities for money in the public stocks & funds Debts Notes Goods Chattels & personal Estate whatsoever & wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever unto and to the use of my said dear wife Susanna her heirs Executors Administrators & Assigns absolutely In witness whereof I the said Edward Soan Twopeny have hereunto set my hand and seal the day & year first above written.
