Let a Probate of this Will be granted to Abraham
Bocking one of the Executors named in the said
Will & a power Reserved for the other

In the Name of God Amen, I Elizabeth Kirk
of the Town and Parish of Hope & of the County Derby
being sick and weak in body but of sound mind & memory
blessed be God, do make and ordain this my present last
Will & Testament in manner & form as followeth, first &
principally I Commend my Soul into the hands of God who
gave it and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be interred
in a Christian like & decent manner at the discretion of my
Executors hereafter named, and first I will that all my debts &
funeral Expenses be paid & discharged, and a true & perfect In=
=ventory be taken of all Goods & personal Estate, of which
I bequeath & dispose as follows, I will th[a]t the I[n]terest of
an hundred & forty four Pounds now in the hands of Benjamin Kirk
of Bradwell my Brother be paid to my Daughter Ann Butcher
the wife of Willm. Butcher during her Life, and after the
decease of her my Daughter Ann Butcher, I do will th[a]t
the said sum of an hundred & forty four Pounds, now in the
hands of my aforesd. Brother Benjamin Kirk be equally divided
amongst my three Grand Children Christopher Butcher John
Butcher & Willm. Butcher Likewise I give to my Grand Son Chris:
Butcher the sum of ten Pounds, to be put in to the hands
of my Executors till he Come to the Age of twenty one and then I do
appoint the said sum with the Interest for the same to be paid him,
Likewise I give to my Grand Sons John & Willm. Butcher each of em
five pounds to be paid them (together with Interest for the same) at the
Age of twenty one, I likewise give to my Grand Sons Christopher
& Willm. Butcher each of em a Bed & Bedding, likewise I give to my
Grand Child John Butcher one Chest standing in the for Chamber,
Likewise I give the Tennant right of my Farm at Bradwell
which I hold under Mr. Eyre of Hassop to my Daughter Ann
Butcher and also the residue of my personal[?] Estate And lastly I do nominate & appoint my Brothers
Ralph & Abram Bocking joynt Executors of this my present
last Will & Testament utterly revoking all former Wills by me
heretofore made. In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand
& seal the 16th day of October in the Ninth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord King George the Second, and in the Year of our Lord God one
Thousand Seven hundred & thirty five.
