This is a transcript of the register copy of the will of Elizabeth Lambole (formerly Pool, maiden surname unknown) of Newbury in Berkshire. She was the widow of Richard Lambole, a barber and peruke (wig) maker of Kingsclere in Hampshire.
The will was written on the 25th of April 1814, about a year before Elizabeh was buried on the 18th of June 1815 at the age of 74 years. It was proved at London in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on the 14th of August 1815. The register copy of the will is now catalogued with the Prerogative Court of Canterbury wills at The National Archives at Kew, Surrey, England.
Spelling and punctuation are as the register copy. Abbreviations have been expanded in square brackets. Capital 'f' has been transcribed as 'F' rather than 'ff'.

In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Lambole of Newberry in the County of Berkshire widow do make this my last Will & Testament in manner following that is to say The whole of my Property of every kind & nature whatsoever and wheresoever after the payment of any just Debts Funeral & Testamentory Expences I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Rebecca Bush wife of James Bush of Calmell Buildings Orchard Street shopkeeper her Heirs or Assigns And lastly I do hereby constitute & appoint the aforesaid James Bush sole Executor to this my last Will & Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto made my Mark & set my Seal this twenty fifth Day of April One Thousand eight hundred & fourteen Elizabeth X Lambole her mark (L:S:) Signed Sealed published and declared by the within named Testatrix Elizabeth Lambole to be her last Will & Testament in presence of James Tree M:R: Rose.
Proved at London 14th August 1815 before the worshipful Samuel Rush Meyrick Doctor of Laws & Surr[ogat]e by the Oath of James Bush the sole Ex[ecut]or to whom Adm[inistrati]on was granted having been first sworn duly to Adm[ission].
