In the Name of God Amen I Evan Price of Talbott County in the Province of Maryland being Sick and weak of Body but of perfect mind and memory praised be Allmighty God for the Same I do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament as followeth, Viz: I give and bequeath to My Son William Price all my land to him & his heirs for Ever but in Case my sd Son die without Issue my will is that the said land fall to my Daughter Hester Price to her and her heirs and In Case my said daughter die without Issue then my afsd land to go to my Son and daughter in Law Robert and Margaret Booker to them and their heirs for Ever . . . . And my will is that if my Son William afsd live to Enjoy my land afsd that he pay to said daughter Hester the Sum of three thousand pounds of Tobacco at or Soon after the time of her Marriage . . . . And lastly I appoint my loving Wife Ann Price my Son in Law Jno Booker Execturix and Executor of this my last will and Testament unto which I have sett my hand and affixed by Seal this fourteenth day of May Anno Domini 1728 . . . .

his Signed Sealed and Acknowledged by the Evan X Price {Sealed} Said Evan Price to be his last Will and mark Testament In Presence of us On the Back of the Aforegoing Tho’s Hopkins Will was there written this His Talbot Coty fo: June 5 1728 Thomas X Christian Here Came Thomas Hopkins mark Thomas Christian and John Jno Ray Ray three of the Subscribing Witnesses for to the aforegoing Will and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of almighty God that they saw the Testator Evan Price Sign and Seal and heard him Publish and declare the same as his last will and Testament and that at the time of his signing he was to the Best of their knowledge and Apprehension of sound & disposing mind and memory and that they the afsd Jno Hopkins Thomas Christian and John Ray all witnessed afsd Subscriber who said will in the Presence of ye said Testator Sworn to Before and Talbot Coty June 5 1728 T Bozeman D County Talbot Thom John Booker Came Before sme and Renounced all his Right Title and Interest to the Administration of Evan Prices Estate Before me T Bozeman D County of Talbot.
