Last Will and Testament of Henry Moorman decd

In the name of God Amen
I Henry Moorman of the said State and County being
of advanced age and knowing that I must shortly
depart from this world deem it right and proper
both as respects myself and family that I should
make a disposition of the property with which a kind
providence has blessed me I therefore make this my
last will and testament herby revoking and an-
nuling all others heretofore made by me.
Item First I devise that my body be buried in a decent and
christian like manner suitable to my circumstances
and condition my soul I must shall return to rest
with God who gave it as I hope for eternal salva-
tion through the blessed Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ.
Item Second I devise and direct that all my just debts be paid
without delay by my executors hereinafter named
as I am unwilling any creditors should be delayed
of their rights especially as there is no necessity for
delay
Item Third I give and devise to my daughter Jane one bed
and bedstead and the covering that belongs to it
the bedstead a cottage one and one spinning wheel
and one chest and the old mare
Item Fourth I give and devise to my daughter Allis one chest
known as her mother's chest and one spinning
wheel and one table the kitchen table the slab
and all the house furniture and one bedstead and
bed
Item Fifth I give and devise to my son Joseph one old red
headed sow and one colt provided that my mare
should bring one and one sow a gilb
Item Sixth I give and devise to my son Henry my yoke
and cart my white cow and calf one single
barrel shot gun and a black bull faced sow

and all my mechanical tools
Item Sevinth I give and devise to Henry Moorman my Brother's son
or nephew my sorrel filly named Mary and my Bell
cow caled red and one small table one black
sow and six pigs
Item Eight I give and devise to my wife Mary all of any other prop-
erty not heretofore disposed of in thie will or testament
Item Ninth I constitute and appoint my Brother Jacob Moorman
Executor to this my last will and Testament this
November 5 1871

Moorman to his last Will and Testament in the pres-
ence of us the subscribers who subscribed our
names hereto in the presence of said Testator and
of each other this November 5 1871.

of November 1871 at Chambers for the purpose of
proving the last will and Testament of Henry Moor
man - one of the witnesses therein named William
H Walker and the will having been brought before
me for probate by the executor Jacob Moorman
who has filed a petition for probate of the
same in common form he the said witness
deposes of the same that he saw said Moorman
sign and publish the same as his last will
and the day and year when stated as executor by him
that he witnessed the same as his request in
his presence and in the presence of the two other
witnesses therein named that the same was
voluntarily executed by him while he was of sound
and deposing mind and memory
