In the name of God Amen The xiijth day of May anno a Thousand five hundreth and xxxv I Henry Plankney M[er]chaunt of the Staple in good mynd and p[er]fite remembraunce thanked be our Lord make and ordeyƱ that my Last wille and testament in fourme folowing
Ffirst I bequeth my soule to the glorious trinity thre p[er]sones and oon very god to the glorious virgyn mary his mother and to all the holy Saints in heavyn and my Body to be buried in Brawghton Church in the myddell Ile yf I declare noon other wise by my lyfe
Item there remayneth in Master Penrith handes xxxv li Ryalls xlv li angells and vj olde nobills the which I bequeth to Anne Skrevyn my daughter at Ester next coming yf she be lyving, and if she be dede and have lefte Issue the said yssue to have the same and yf she be dede w[ith]out yssue then xx li. St. therof remayne to John Skryven and the rest to be bestowed in whole and gevyn to pour householders in Caleis.
Item I will that Richard Bennyt deliver likewise to the said Anne my daughter at Ester and a yere twenty pounds st. yf she be lyving, and if she be dede and leve issue, the said Issue to have it, or else to remain to the said Richard Bennyt
Item likewise I will that the said Richard Bennyt deliver to the said Anne my daughter at Ester com a yere thre goblets wt a cover p[ar]cell gilt written aboute wisdom is maister of all riches and likewise other thre goblets parcell gilt called myn olde goblets and in case the said Anne decease and leve yssue then the said Issue to have it and elss the thre goblets with the cover remain to Edward Plankney and thother thre to George Redysdayll
Item I will Richard Bennyt paye unto Edward Plankney tenne pounds mon st and likewise to George Redysdayll twenty pounds mon st
Item I releasse and forgeve the said George Redysdayll all rekenyngs bitwene him and me or any one dett that he ought to Master Lymytt by any bill made to Richard Bennyt or otherwise and likewise I pray him to forgeve me
Item I will that Richard Bennyt paye to Adrian Doghans daughter for Walters bequest twenty poundes Caleis money and to Nevekyn Walter [...] thre poundes yt taking his quittance
Item I will the said Richard Bennyt deliver to maister Dormer alderman of London tenne pounds mon st he to bestowe it wt the money of a pece sarsenet that he hath of myn to use he knoweth my mynde
Item to retayne xiij pour housholders and to give to every oon of them xiij s by the weke the first of thre monethes, and then to discharge them and take other xiij for other iij monethis, and so ev[er]y three monethis the space of oon yeir, and this to be doon by the instruction of Richard Bennytt and Edward Plankney to discharge parte or all as they thinke best

Item I will Richard Bennytt deliver unto George Redysdall my litell frenche Salt of silver with the cover and to my daughter Baynh-m the other Salt wtout cover for a remembraunce
Item I will that Richard Bennytt have my best tabill clothe and towel and Edward Planknes wife the other fine oon that was her fathers which lyeth with other diap[er] and Lynnen in the shorte chest in the fore chamber, also I will that the rest of the diap[er] and Lynnen that is in the said chest be eqally devided bitwene my daughters Anne and Mary
Item I wille that my daughter Anne have oon of my twoo best fetherbedds and vj olde cusshens with hawks
Item I will that my daughter Anne have my Saint Johns hode and all p[er]teynyng to the same lying in the great long setyll
Item I will that Cateryn my wifs sister have yerely during her lyfe owt of my house there John Ffenue dwellith x li Caleis money and after the said house and my house at the [...]ayse remain to both my daughters and to their heires
Item I will that Richard Bennytt have my yerd in Sanwichs howse
Item I will that Richard Bennytt paye to Henry Abott vj li xiij s iiij d mon st whiche I will be delivered to the hands of Maistres Baynh-m to be ordred by her wyse to his behove, and likewise to his fader Reynolde Abott x li mon st
Item I will that Richard Bennytt have my grey horsse, saddyll and brydill and my best furryd gowne that is here and my furryd petycote
Item I bequeth to maister Penrith my great hoop of gold
Item I will that Richard Bennytt content deliver and paye all my bequests detts and legacies and all other things conteyned hereafore in this my present testament and that doon and p[er]formed The residue of all my goodes plate money and mchaundize and all other things whatsoever they be wtin Caleis or in any other place of that side the see I geve unto my sonne Richard Bennytt
Item all my goodes money and wares that I have within the countie of Lincoln not afore bequethid I geve it to my sonne in law John Skreven he to p[er]forme for the bequests my buriall and suche other things as I have gevyn him in charge, and of this present testament and last wille I make and ordeyn Richard Bennytt my sonne in lawe my Executour and my kynnesman Edward Plankney myn overseer - per me Harry Plankney per me Alexander Plankney per me Sr Richard Johnson
