In the name of god Amen the
24^th daye of the monthe of August in
the year of our Lorde god 1542
and in the 34^th yere of the Reign
of our soveraiyne Lorde King Henry the
eight Isabell Cowper of Hengh[a]m in the
coun[tie] of Norff[olk] and in the Diocies of
Norwiche widowe of goode mynde and [per]fect
remember[a]nce not withstanding syck in body
make her testament and last will nuncupative
in man[ner] and forme folowyng. First she bequeathed
her soule to god almightie our Lady Saynt
Mary and to all the holy company of Heven
and her body to be buried in the church yard
of Hengham aforsayde

Also she willed to have
a priest to syng for her soule her frends
soules the space of half a yere The
residue of her goodes She gave and bequeathed
unto the disposc[i]on of Thomas Woodcocke of
Hengham aforesayde whom she named her
soole executor to dispose suche thinges
