Will of James Crutchlow

In The Name of God Amen I James Critchlow of the County of Harrison & State of Kentucky being old and infirm in body but in my proper senses and calling to mind the uncertainty of this mortal Body do make and order in this my Last Will and Testament first that I command my soul to almighty God who Gave it me and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be buried at the discretion of my younger son John Critchlow being my Executor and as to the worldly goods it has Pleased God to Bless me With I Give & Dispose of in the form and manner as follows - - -

Item.. my will is that Elizabeth Plunkett have my [Coin and lacklings??] and a certain muly heifer with a star in her forehead & white Back

Item my will is that after my just Debts being paid that my younger son John Critchlow have all the Land household furniture and stock of every kind that may be in my name or in my Possession at the time of my decease

Item lastly I Contribute & appoint my Beloved son John Critchlow my Executor to this my Last Will and Testament Renowncing all others by me heretofore made I Declare and promise this to be my Last

In Witness wereunto I have set my my hand and seal this Sixteenth Day of April Eighteen hundred & Twelve
