Last Will and Testament James Deleshaw dec, d Abbeville District.
In the name of God Amen. I James Deleshaw of the district aforesaid being afflicted in body but of sound disposing and calling to mind mortality knowing It is appointed for man to die. do make end ordain this my last will and testament In the following manner. Imprimis I bequeath Soul to God In humble hopes of his mercy through Jesus Christ our Lord and my body to the dust. I will that all Just debts and funeral charges be paid.
Item. I give unto beloved wife Nancy Deleshaw one hundred and fifty acres of land in the old tract during her natural life and also a sufficient part Of the stock to support her and at her death to go to my son Peter Deleshaw . I also give my daughter Sarah Brezzeal twenty five acres so long as she chooses to live on It. I also give unto Son Jacob Deleshaw forty one acres of land. and all the property that wife Nancy Deleshaw does not take for her support shall be sold and equal divided between my lawful heirs and Joseph my Grandson which their names is as follows Jacob Deleshaw Elizabeth Man Sarah Breazeale, Peter Deleshaw and my grandson Joseph I also will that the land Shall be so divided as all to have use of the Spring I also do appoint my son Jacob Deleshaw as Executor to this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the six day of September in the year of our lord 1820 Dale Lalmer Daniel Chambers Charles Brett Proven the 21st October 1820 before Jas.
