In the Name of God Amen
I James Huckle of West Molesey in the County of Surrey
Gent being att this time sick of Body but of perfect and sound
mind and memory (thanks be God for it) do make and
ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form
following that is to say Imprimis I Bequeath my Soul
to Almighty God that gave it trusting in a joyfull resurrection
through the merritts of Christ my Saviour First and
principally I leave my son Godfrey Neller Huckle and his
trustees named in a settlement of Marriage between the
said James Huckle and Katherine naturall daughter of
Sir Godfrey Neller now wife of me the said James Huckle
all my estate in Generall Reall and personall the greatest
part of which is already settled and that which is not setled
as money etc to him my said son and his heirs for ever
But if it should happen that my said Wife should be
now breeding then I Give all the part of my Estate reall
and personall unsettled in the aforesaid settlement to that
issue of her Body whether male or female But if it should
happen that my said son now living and the supposed
issue should both or all decease without Issue lawfully
begotten then I give the said unsettled part to my wife
for her life and after her decease to such of my Brothers
or Brothers Sister or Sisters in Law by the name of Denham
as shall be then be living to be equally divided between them
share and share alike And as far as in me lies do make my
dear and loving Wife sole Executrix of this my last Will
and Testament Giving also to my Uncle Richard Huckle a
Ring of Ten shilling And I do hereby revoke all former Wills
by me heretofore made and date this this seventh day of
November 1710 .||. Ja: Huckle signed sealed published and
declared by the Testator to be his last Will and Testament
in the presence of us Tim:Poole Eliza Priest the mark of Ann Stevens
Codill
But I moreover desire that all my
just debts and funerall expences may be honestly paid and
discharged within a Twelve month after my decease and
that to my good friend Mr Tim: Poole of Hampton and
his wife I give and bequeath each of them a ring of a
Guinea a piece and two or three other of my particular
friends the same and to the pall bearers each of them
a ring of ten shillings .||. Ja: Huckle wittnessed as above
Probate clause in latin granted 10 Decembe 1710 to Catherine Huckle the relict of the said deceased.
