“In the name of God amen I Jane McNees of the county of Harrison & state of Kentucky in old and afflicted but of perfect mind & memory & calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to be buried in a decent Christian like manner
And as touching such worldly goods as it has please God to bless me with I do dispose of the same in the manner following after all my just debts are paid (viz)
First I give to my granddaughter Elizabeth McNees twenty dollars
Secondly to Sarah McNees fifteen dollars
Thirdly to Jane McNees twenty dollars
Fourthly to John McNees twenty five dollars
Fifthly to Patsy McNees fifteen dollars
Sixthly to Anna McNees fifteen dollars
Seventhly to Abraham McNees fifteen dollars
Eighthly to Nancy McNees fifteen dollars
Ninthly to Catherine McNees fifteen dollars
The foregoing are all children of my son Abraham McNees
Tenthly to Nan McNees fifteen dollars
11thly to Anna McNees fifteen dollars
12thly to James Harvey McNees fifteen dollars
13thly to Isaac Newton McNees fifteen dollars
14thly to William Claypole McNees twenty five dollars
15thly to Lucinda McNees fifteen dollars

all my cloathing and apparel respt cloathing per the [?] given to Mary Lemmon to be equally divided between my two daughters in law Nancy McNees & Peggy McNees & all my granddaughters above named and I do hereby utter disallow revoke & disannul all and every Will or testament made by me heretofore hereby ratifying and confirming this my last Will & testament in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of July 1800 and sixteen :Jane McNees
