Liij I John Fytlynge of Hengham in the
countie of Norff[olk] husbandman beyinge sycke
and dyseased in bodye but holl of mynde and
of p[er]fryght memorye praysed be the Lorde make
this my testamente and laste wyll in manner and
forme folowinge First I bequethe my
sowle unto god the father by whoose former
deathe I truste to be saved And by his
precious bloode shedinge to possesse an
iternall inheritance in hevyn and my
bodye to be buried in the p[ar]ishe church yarde

of Hengham aforesaide And for the
dystribuc[i]on of my temporall goodes
Fyrst I bequethe to the poore mene
borne at Hengham aforesaide xijs Also
I gyve unto Thomas my sonne all and
singuler my howses and landes settlinge
and beyinge within the townshipp of
Hengham withall and singuler commo
dytyes p[er]fryhte or emolmente in any
wyse app[er]teynynge or belongynge to
the forsaide howse or howses And in
case that Thomas my sonne departe
this worlde withowte yssue that then
the howses and landes aforsaid shall
remayn to Bartylmewe my sonne
And in case he the saide Bartylmewe
departe this worlde withowte yssue that
then they shall remayn unto John my sonne
Also I gyve unto John my sonne all that my
howse and landes boothe free and bonde sett
lyinge and beynge within the towne of
Wykylwoode called Hunte Withall the como-
dyties emolmente or p{er}fryhte in any wyse
belongynge or apperteynyninge to the same
accordinge to the tenets and meanynge of
the testamente and laste wyll of Bartyl-
mewe Fytlynge my brother nowe beynge
deade And also I wyll that John my
sonne shall gyve unto Bartylmewe his

aforsaide Also I gyve and bequethe
unto every one of my vi daughters fyve
markes a pece and a cowe and three
sheepe wherof every on[e] of them shall receyve
at the daye of their maryage xxs and a cowe and iij
sheepe And the reeste of the
fyve markes withyn ijth years after they in
maryage to be paide Also I gyve unto
Agnes my syster a bushell of malte and
a bushell of myxtelyn And to everye
godchilde that I have iijs Also I will
that Alice my wyef shall have her
dwellynge and occupye this my howse
and land in Hengham And also that
howse in Wykylwoode untill suche tyme
as my sonne John comyth of Age joyntly
with Thomas my sonne She the fore-
