God (1593) and in the xxxvjth yere of the Reigne of our sov[er]eigne Lady Elizabeth
by the grace of God Quene of England france and Ireland defender of the
fayth etc I John Puplet of Bansted in the county of Surr[ey] husbandman
Sick of body and in p[er]fect memory thanks be geven to Almighty God for
do make and ordayne this my p[re]sent Testament and last will in mann[er]
& fome following that is to say First I do bequeath my Sowle to almighty
God my maker saviour and redeemer and my body to be buryed in the
churchyard of Bansted aforsayd at the discression of my Frindes

unto Phillip Puplet my yongest Sonne who also I geve unto my'
copyhould lands.

good and lawfull money of England

my daughter xls of good and lawfull money of England w[hi]ch legacies
I will to be payd them at their sev[er]all ages of xxiti yeres also my
will is that if either of them shall fortune to dye before he or she
shall com to the sayd age of xxiti yeres that then the overliv[er]? of them
shall have the porcion of such as shall soe dye

bequeath unto John Puplet my sonne one ewe sheepe w[hi]ch I will
to be payd him within one yere next after my decease

rest of my goods moveables and ummoveables my debts being payd
and legacies fulfilled and my body brought on earth I do geve
and bequeath unto my well beloved wyff mary Puplet to se my
Children brought up Also I make & ordayne the sayd mary my
