In the name of God Amen I Lawrence Fish of Blackpool in the County of Lancaster Butcher being in a poor state of health but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make ordain publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz
First I order and direct all my just debts my funeral expenses and the probate of this my will to be paid and discharged forth and out of my personal estate and I give and bequeath all my Estate and Effects of what nature or description soever I am or may be possessed of at the time of my decease to my wife Mary during her natural life or so long as she remains my widow,
and after her decease I give and bequeath to my four children hereafter named viz William John Alice and Lawrence, the whole of my property remaining to be divided share and share alike among them
and I nominate and appoint John Singleton of Bispham yeoman executor of this my Will to which I have set my hand and seal this sixteenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and sixteen as witness my hand
Signed sealed published and declared by the above testator for and as his last Will and testament with presence of us and at his request in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses

On the second day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen - this Will of Lawrence Fish late of Blackpool in the parish of Bispham in the county of Lancaster, within the Archdeaconry of [?] in the Diocese of Chester, Butcher who departed this life on or about the nineteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and seventeen was proved in common form and John Singleton of Bispham in the parish of Bispham and county of Lancaster Yeoman and Robert Banks of Blackpool in the parish of Bispham in the County of Lancaster yeoman, executors therein named were sworn, well and faithfully to execute and perform the same and so forth, and that according to the best of the knowledge information and belief of the said executors the whole of the goods, chattels and credits of which the said testator Lawrence Fish died possessed, within the Archdeaconry of Richmond in the Diocese of Chester (exclusive of what the said testator might have been possessed of or entitled to as a trustee for any other person or persons and beneficially and without deducting anything on account of the debts due and owing by and from the said testator) were under the value of one hundred pounds
