I Mary Shenton of Barwell in the County of Leicester Spinster knowing
the uncertainty of life and certainty of death doe make and ordein
this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following first
I commend my Soul into the hands of Allmighty God hoping thro the
merits of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to have full pardon and
forgiveness of all my sins and to inherit eternal life and my body I
commit to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my
Executor hereafter named and as to the worldly goods and Estate which
it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and bequeath in manner
and forme followeing Imprimis I Will that my debts and Funerall
charges shall be fully paid and discharged Item I give and bequeath
to my loving Kinsman Francis Shenton sen[ior] of Loughborow in the County
aforesaid all the Arrears of my Annuity that was given me by my
Uncle Gregory Kent payable out of the Lands at Wharton now in the
possession of on Richard Dester togeather with all my Wearing
Apparell and all other Legacyes and debts that are due to me from any
person or persons whatsoever and doe also make and appoint my said

Kinsman Francis Shenton Sen[ior] sole Executor of this my last Will and
Testament and I hereby revoak disanull and make void all former
Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made In Witness hereof I the
said Mary Shenton have hereunto set my hand and seale the seventeenth
day of October Anno Domini 1720. The mark of Mary Shenton Signed
Sealed Published and declared by the said Mary Shenton on and for
her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto
subscribed our names in the presence of the Testator Thomas Yennings
William Adamson Sackvil Coy./

In the year of the Lord one thousand seven hundred and twenty-first Oath of
Francis Shenton Senior Executor named in the said Will
He was entrusted with the administration of all and every property of the Jurisprudence
and the said creditors of the deceased concerning the good and faithful administration of the same
He swears by the power of the Commission to the holy Gospels of God.
