In the name of God Amen, I Nathaniel Chater of Saint Dunstans Hill in the City of London Glass cutter do make and publish this paper writing as and for my last will and testament in the first place I will and ??? that all my just debts funeral expenses and the expenses of ??? this sum will be fully paid and satisfied as soon as reasonably may be after my decease I give and bequeath unto my brothers James Chater, Richard Chater, Eliezer Chater and Joseph Chater the sum of one hundred pounds ??? I also give and bequeath unto my sister Philadelphia Chater the sum of two hundred pounds. I also give and bequeath unto Samuel Hayward who now lives with me the sum of twenty pounds and all the residue and remainder of my estate and effects of every description as well ??? as personal whosoever the same may be situate, I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my dear wife Susannah Chater her ??? executors, administrators and appoint my said wife and my said brother Eliezer Chater executrix and executor of this my will and I do hereby revoke and make void all other wills by me at any time hitherto make and ??? this only to be my last will and testament in ??? whoever I the Nathaniel Chater have in hitherto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three Nath Chater signed sealed and published and delivered by the said Nathaniel Chater the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in this ??? at his request and in the ??? of oath other have therefore set our names as ??? thereto Wm Greeson angel court, John gregson James Clollier

I Nathaniel Chater of Saint Dunstans Hill, London ??? do make and publish this as a codicil to my last will and testament in manner following that is to say I do hereby give devise and bequeath unto my dear niece Ann Philadelphia Wilson her ??? the freehold estate at Greenwith which in have this day nominated to purchase of Alexander ??? and if I die before the purchase is completed I direct my executors to complete the said purchased for my said ??? as ??? my hand and seal this seventh day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifteen Nath Chater

Proved at London with a codicil the 28th January 1822 before the worshipful ??? by the oaths of Susannah Chater Widow the relict and Eliezer Chater the brother the exec to whom admin was granted having been first sworn duly to administer
